One Act Showcase
THe 2024 one act showcase Registration is now open!
One acts will be invited to perform on a space-available basis with a maximum of 2 submittals per school.
Time limit: 30-45 minutes for the show, 20 min set-up and 20 min tear down.
Pieces can be published or original material. Written confirmation must be submitted that royalties were paid or that permission was given by the publishing company or author.
A troupe can petition for a time extension, but it is not guaranteed.
Most one act plays will be presented during the workshop sessions.
Please make careful selections when choosing performance pieces. Inappropriate language, innuendos, or sexual situations are not permitted.
All plays must be submitted by November 17th at 11:59pm. No late entries will be accepted.
All performers, crew members, and sponsors must be registered with the current year’s Tennessee ThesCon in order to present a one act play. There will be no exceptions. All ThesCon delegates must pay full registration fees.
